We value time and experience above all else. Inspired by the world around us, we create products for people who like to do more, own less and spend time on the things that really matter.
With sustainability at the forefront and inspired by the vast yet beautiful Himalayan landscape, we’re on a mission to prove that aesthetics, design and sustainability don’t have to be mutually exclusive. We found that anything synthetic materials can do, natural materials can do better. Channelling the simplicity and beauty of the great outdoors, our minimal, functional and aesthetically appealing products are infused with a distinct streak of luxury with carefully chosen features. While others in the industry are sourcing cheaper leather to compete on price, we’ve been able to maintain our Grade-A quality. Grade-A means using high quality hides sourced directly from certified local factories in Italy, Turkey, Spain and Argentina. Our third-party testing lab guarantees it’s the only quality used in our collection. The result? Verified luxury products at a truly radical price.

Inspired by minimalism and brought together by the love for simplicity, Nischal and Nikhil started Svenklas with a shared vision to build a design driven sustainable lifestyle brand that focuses on creating artfully designed products to aid in your everyday journeys and make quality a part of your life. Taking inspiration from Nordic heritage and Himalayan landscapes, they adopted the name Svenklas to create products which are rich in meaning and story - while focusing intently on design, sustainability, artisanal craftsmanship and highest quality. They spent months finding the best factories before they found the ones that mirrored their vision for Svenklas. What emerged from this partnership were products that emboldened the best of luxury while combining modern functionality and minimal aesthetics. Products that would speak to generations of people who know the distinction between quality and quantity.
Our Founders
Inspired by minimalism and brought together by the love of simplicity, Nikhil and Nischal started Svenklas with a shared vision to build a design driven lifestyle brand that focuses on creating artfully designed products to aid in your everyday journeys and make quality a part of your life.
Taking inspiration from Nordic heritage, they adopted the name Svenklas to create products which are rich in meaning, quality and story - while focusing intently on design, premium materials, artisanal craftsmanship and reasonable prices. They spend months finding the best factories before they found the one that mirrored their vision for Svenklas.
What emerged from this partnership were backpacks that emboldened the best of luxury while combining modern functionality and minimal aesthetics. Backpacks that would speak to the generations of people who know the distinction between quality and quantity.
